Job Summary
This role is a high-visibility position within a rapidly expanding company. The ideal candidate will have experience across the entire product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
Own system requirements, including requirement definition and subsystem requirements.
Interface with customers to ensure their needs are fully met by the system design.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive key requirements through subsystem design.
Create and manage interface control documentation and oversee interactions between hardware, software, and firmware subsystems.
Lead the V-cycle process from requirements to validation, designing system architecture diagrams, and performing trade studies.
Perform analysis to confirm system requirements are met by the system design.
Facilitate the toll gate process from requirements to launch.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related field.
8+ years of industry experience, ideally spanning the entire product lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to establish the technical baseline of a system/product and navigate ambiguity.
Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JAMA, Polarion, DOORS, and MBSE tools like SparxEA or Capella.
Python development or similar object-oriented language experience.
Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.
Ability to identify gaps, prioritize tasks, and lead efforts involving multiple engineers from different teams.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, refugee status, or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Pay
The range of starting pay for this role is $167,000—$196,800 USD.
