Responsibilities
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized and cloud microservice-based applications using Kubernetes.
- Configure systems, deploy software, and orchestrate advanced workflows to support application deployment and system updates using Ansible.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and System Administrators to support uploading, organizing, and managing Containers as a Service (CaaS).
- Manage Rancher by overseeing Kubernetes, addressing operational and security alerts to deploy and secure clusters.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, cloud technologies, Rancher, and Containers as a Service (CaaS).
- Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience, OR
- High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
- Master’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rack elevation and cabling design.
- Large-scale integration (rack and stack) experience.
