About the role
This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support the program requirements lead to develop and maintain the system level requirement specification
- Collaborate with program subject matter experts and various teams to ensure lower-level requirements are appropriately decomposed
- Candidate will manage system level information, using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/software
- Collaborate with US Government stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met
Requirements
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- 1+ years’ experience developing requirements in DOORS
Qualifications
- Principal Systems Engineer: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD
- Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline and 8 years experience OR a Master's Degree and 6 years experience OR a PhD and 4 years experience
Skills
- US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification
- Cameo/MBSE experience
- Knowledge of System Integration and Test Principles
- Previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc.)
- Experience working with internal and external teams to accomplish tasking
- Ability to effectively communicate and present technical details to peers, and stakeholders
- Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards and methods
- Experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA, CONFLUENCE…etc.)
