About the role

The Principal Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining complex IT systems, ensuring high availability and security. This role requires a strong background in system administration, including Linux and Windows environments, and a current Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including virtual machines and cloud services.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Develop and document system administration procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Linux and Windows environments.
  • A current Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with network management tools and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Linux administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).

Pay

$170,228 per year

Schedule
