Principal Syndigo Riversand Architect – Hands-On Senior Developer - Chicago (34978)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior MDM Solutions Architect / Principal Consultant with deep expertise in the Syndigo and/or Riversand MDM platform. This is a senior-level role focused on solution design, configuration, and delivery in enterprise environments. We are looking for professionals with a consulting or professional services background who can provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and engage directly with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MDM implementations from solution design through delivery in enterprise environments
• Design, configure, and deliver Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Syndigo/Riversand
• Work with business stakeholders to define MDM strategy, solution design, governance, and implementation roadmaps
• Provide technical leadership, conduct solution reviews, and mentor teams to support successful project delivery
• Integrate Syndigo/Riversand with enterprise applications, APIs, ERP, PIM, or commerce platforms

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory experience with Syndigo and/or Riversand MDM platform (current or previous experience required)
• Strong experience designing, configuring, and delivering Master Data Management (MDM) solutions
• Strong understanding of MDM data modeling, entity modeling, taxonomy, hierarchies, relationships, and governance
• Experience leading MDM implementations from solution design through delivery in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Syndigo/Riversand configuration, implementation, administration, or platform customization
• Consulting or professional services background with strong client-facing communication and delivery experience
• Experience working with business stakeholders to define MDM strategy, solution design, governance, and implementation roadmaps
• Ability to mentor teams, provide technical leadership, conduct solution reviews, and support successful project delivery
• Strong understanding of enterprise data quality, data governance, product information management (PIM), and master data best practices

Preferred Skills

• Platform configuration experience is highly valued; deep custom Java development is not mandatory
• Java/J2EE development experience is considered an asset but is not required
• Previous Riversand experience remains relevant even if the candidate has since worked with other MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Stibo, etc.)
• Experience integrating Syndigo/Riversand with enterprise applications, APIs, ERP, PIM, or commerce platforms is beneficial

• Senior Lead, Principal Consultant, Technical Lead, SME, or Architect profiles are all encouraged
• Candidates focused on configuration and platform capabilities remain highly desirable
• Will consider candidates whose strengths are in platform configuration, data modeling, solution delivery, technical leadership, and client consulting, even if they are less focused on custom development or traditional enterprise architecture
