Principal Syndigo Riversand Architect – Hands-On Senior Developer - CHICAGO (34978)

About the role

Senior MDM Solutions Architect / Principal Consultant role focused on Syndigo and/or Riversand MDM platform, involving design, configuration, delivery of MDM solutions, leading implementations, working with stakeholders, mentoring teams, and integrating with enterprise applications.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience with Syndigo and/or Riversand MDM platform (current or previous experience required).
• Strong experience designing, configuring, and delivering Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Platform configuration experience highly valued; deep custom Java development not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of MDM data modeling, entity modeling, taxonomy, hierarchies, relationships, and governance.
• Experience leading MDM implementations from solution design through delivery in enterprise environments.
• Senior Lead, Principal Consultant, Technical Lead, SME, or Architect profiles encouraged.
• Hands‑on experience with Syndigo/Riversand configuration, implementation, administration, or platform customization.
• Consulting or professional services background with strong client‑facing communication and delivery experience.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to define MDM strategy, solution design, governance, and implementation roadmaps.
• Ability to mentor teams, provide technical leadership, conduct solution reviews, and support successful project delivery.
• Experience integrating Syndigo/Riversand with enterprise applications, APIs, ERP, PIM, or commerce platforms is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data quality, data governance, product information management (PIM), and master data best practices.
• Java/J2EE development experience considered an asset but not required.
• Previous Riversand experience remains relevant even if candidate has worked with other MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Stibo, etc.).
• Will consider candidates whose strengths are in platform configuration, data modeling, solution delivery, technical leadership, and client consulting, even if less focused on custom development or traditional enterprise architecture.
