About the role
This organization is hiring a Principal Site Reliability Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Tempe, Arizona (3 days onsite).
Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud architecture across AWS environments with additional workloads in Azure and GCP
- Drive infrastructure automation and observability across mission-critical production systems
- Help shape the reliability strategy for a large cloud platform
- Influence architecture decisions and mentor other engineers
- Guide best practices, build resilient systems, and help scale cloud infrastructure supporting millions of users
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
- Strong experience supporting large-scale AWS environments
- Expertise with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience designing or supporting containerized platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS
- Strong Linux systems knowledge
- Scripting experience using Bash
Qualifications
- Python scripting experience (desired)
- Experience supporting multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (desired)
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability platforms at scale (desired)
- Experience driving reliability or automation initiatives across engineering teams (desired)
- Exposure to modern DevOps or platform engineering practices (desired)
