About the role

The Global Specialty Recruiting (GSR) team at Amazon is a specialized group dedicated to finding exceptional talent for complex, hard-to-fill roles across various scientific, design, academic, and executive tech and non-tech positions. The team comprises recruiters, researchers, and recruiting coordinators, along with central program management, business analysts, and administrative staff to support operations, processes, policies, systems, training, communication, change management, data, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with research (and conduct your own) to identify and cultivate candidates that enable innovation and business scalability.
  • Create unique and robust search strategies to identify and deliver the right leaders for the right roles at the right time.
  • Develop innovative ways to enhance Amazon’s connections with senior-level science talent.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base of the team and the broader recruiting community by sharing intelligence on relevant industries and talent pools/profiles.
  • Build out science talent networks in technology and education sectors, tapping knowledgeable industry sources to develop an ongoing list of evergreen candidates.
  • Owning business and stakeholder relationships, providing strategic guidance and coaching in close partnership with executive hiring managers and their teams.
  • Conduct informational/exploratory calls, phone screens, interviews, and references.
  • Participate in hiring decisions throughout the candidate life cycle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive corporate or search firm recruiting at executive level experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive technical recruiting at executive level experience.
  • 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of advising and influencing leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $187,000.00 - $252,900.00 annually.
