About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Principal, Specialist SE to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will serve as a strategic technical partner to sales teams, helping shape customer conversations around data architecture, integration, and AI readiness. The position will focus on guiding complex discovery sessions, translating business needs into scalable solutions, and supporting mission-driven organizations with modern data foundations. You will collaborate closely with account executives and internal stakeholders to influence strategy, strengthen customer confidence, and advance enterprise outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for sales teams, acting as a strategic architectural partner.
• Conduct holistic discovery sessions to reframe customer data journeys.
• Design compliant, AI-ready architectures that deliver insights from fragmented data.
• Bridge gaps between legacy systems and modern outcomes for Federal Civilian agencies.
• Lead high-impact discovery sessions focused on agency mission outcomes.
• Mentor account teams and partners on data and integration best practices.
• Evangelize the vision of unified data through workshops and direct engagement.

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• Ability to design secure, scalable architectures for public sector environments.
• Expertise in leading integration, analytics, and data platform solutions, ideally across all three areas.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits for executive audiences.
• Knowledge of trusted context foundations for AI, including data grounding and metadata intelligence.
• History of partnering with Account Executives to drive effective sales strategies.
• At least 7 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or Digital Transformation.
