About the role

As a Procurement Specialist, Aftermarket, you will manage all supply chain activities for international suppliers at our Aerostructures headquarters. This position works primarily onsite and requires interfacing with program leadership, engineering, quality, production control, suppliers, and internal customers. You will oversee several suppliers/components, ensuring delivery and quality assurance, cost management, quote preparation, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier performance, commercial issues, and contractual requirements to ensure 100% on-time delivery and quality.
  • Place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and enforce contractual obligations.
  • Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQs), participate in negotiations, and issue Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
  • Provide delivery assurance and cost management using industry-leading tools.
  • Embrace lean and continuous improvement philosophy, including participation in CORE engagements/Kaizen events.
  • Travel up to 10% domestically.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • University Degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience working with contract structure, business terms, and conditions.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience leading a project.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • MS Office experience, including creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Ability to communicate and present to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and handle ambiguity.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $95,500 – $181,700 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
