Principal Specialist, Material Program Manager
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret DoD security clearance is required; an active and existing clearance is required after day one.
About the role
RTX (Raytheon Technologies) is seeking an onsite Product Manager for Interorganizational (IOT), New Product Integration (NPI), and/or Production Programs with operations experience. This role will guide execution and develop program plans to introduce new products to factory operations at the Consolidated Manufacturing Center in McKinney, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure functional and factory areas execute strategies to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements while focusing on profitability, improved ROI, and sustained growth.
- Lead collaboratively across Operations, Supply Chain, Program Operations Management (POM), Program Management Office (PMO), Engineering, and Mission Assurance.
- Demonstrate performance in business operations, performance measurement systems, and command media.
- Lead or support factory meetings (HMT, Retrospective/IPT, Tiers) and production activities, including team engagement, production control, value stream mapping, proposal efforts, and LRE/EAC activities.
Requirements
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Professional experience in factory operations, engineering, and/or supply chain in a team environment.
- Experience using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Experience using metrics to develop implementation of the Build Plan or MRP plan to meet customer contractual commitments.
- U.S. citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma/CORE, and other operational methodologies.
- CORE Certification.
- Experience using business and project management tools and procedures such as Risk Management and Financial Forecasting.
- Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with the ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem-solving approaches, and manage execution.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
