About the role

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Accelerator Team is a strategic AI product, solutions, and data science organization focused on rapidly identifying business opportunities, developing AI-powered capabilities, and delivering measurable business impact across the organization. The team partners across the enterprise to accelerate innovation, integrate AI into core business processes, and drive value realization at scale.

We are building a high-performing team of leaders, architects, AI experts, product managers, data scientists, and delivery professionals who can transform ideas into deployed solutions, accelerate adoption, and deliver sustainable business outcomes quickly and effectively.

As a Principal Solutions Architect on the AI Accelerator Team, you will own the end-to-end technical vision for AI solutions, defining the ecosystem, driving reuse and enterprise alignment, and leading from discovery through production to deliver scalable, secure, and measurable outcomes. This fast-paced, first-of-its-kind opportunity is to help shape the future of AI within AT&T Field Operations. Responsibilities

  • Design the end-to-end technical vision for AI-enabled products and solutions.
  • Define how the ecosystem works, impacted applications, data, APIs, platforms, users, integrations, and dependencies.
  • Create effective, reusable prompts that streamline partner development and accelerate AI solution delivery.
  • Ensure AI solutions are built for reuse, integration, enterprise alignment, operational readiness, and long-term sustainability.
  • Provide technical leadership from discovery through implementation, helping teams move from concept to production.
  • Partner with AI Developers to translate solution vision into buildable AI capabilities.
  • Help resolve technical blockers and ensure AI solutions are scalable, reusable, secure, and aligned to enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with GSP and CDO partners to establish the enterprise solution approach across data, platforms, integration, security, and delivery.
  • Ensure solutions leverage existing enterprise assets, avoid duplication, and align with governance and compliance expectations.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between business, AI developers, architecture, data, and platform teams to move solutions from concept to production.
  • Work directly with business and operational leaders, including on-site engagement when needed, to identify opportunities, deploy AI solutions, and drive sustainable adoption.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related experience in area of professional responsibility.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Qualifications

  • Command of architecture, integrations, cloud, AI, and data ecosystems.
  • Applies and utilizes prompt engineering to obtain the most from AI models.
  • Turns business needs into scalable, technical solutions.
  • Aligns stakeholders, bringing clarity to complex technical decisions.
  • Able to simplify and explain technical solutions.
  • Balances innovation, security, cost, ROI, and reliability.
  • Identifies reusable solutioning, not duplicating work.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science is preferred.

Pay

Individual starting salary within the range of $155,400.00 - $261,100.00 USD Annual may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
