About the role

The Principal Solutions Architect, Strategic Accounts serves as a trusted technical advisor to a technology company reshaping its industry using AI. This role shapes the technical agenda for the account and operates at the C-Suite level, building net-new architectures that become the reference.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes, reference implementations, and production-ready architectures that prove the value of new AI capabilities at scale
• Serve as the trusted technical voice, shaping the industry-level conversation on AI
• Access the full power of AWS, engaging specialist teams, applied science resources, and product groups to deliver outcomes that no single team could achieve alone
• Pioneer new patterns—solutions you build define how the industry approaches agentic AI, model orchestration, and intelligent automation
• Mentor the next generation—develop Solutions Architects who can operate at this altitude and complexity

Qualifications

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
