Principal Software Engineer with Security Clearance

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The candidate will provide full-stack Java software development in support of data transformation solutions, engineering end-to-end serverless architectures using the AWS ecosystem. They will contribute to innovative projects, working with cutting-edge technologies to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• Java and JavaScript
• Python
• Agile software environment
• Experience utilizing corporate authentication services into a secure full stack solution
• Experience delivering full stack solutions within AWS cloud, utilizing API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Familiar with designing and implementing caching services for web applications
• Multi-source Data Integration to fetch and package data from different sources
• CI/CD Orchestration (Jenkins, Github, CodePipeline)
• Artifact State Management
• Jira and Confluence

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Pay

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
