Principal Software Engineer (FullStack) with Security Clearance

About the role

This position will be instrumental in the development of the new version of this mission critical application, which provides command and control of devices and assures site security. The legacy version contains XML and Java, and MongoDB. The new version will utilize java/javascript, and MERN stack.

Responsibilities

• Java and javascript development in a Linux environment
• MySQL and/or MongoDB database experience
• MERN (MySQL, Express, React and Node)
• Jira and Confluence usage

Requirements

• Able to assist/mentor junior development team members as needed
• Hands-on coding/programming skills
• Strong front-end development skills

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and JavaScript
• Experience with MySQL or MongoDB databases
• Experience with MERN stack
