Principal Software Engineer, Tech Lead (TypeScript)

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical decisions across Growth Studio teams
• Define scalable service patterns and AI-enabled workflows
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate goals into roadmaps
• Architect solutions to complex product issues
• Guide integration with various internal and external systems
• Establish best practices for software design and maintainability
• Perform architecture and code reviews, ensuring high quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in building and evolving complex software products
• Significant experience in technical leadership, solution design, or architecture
• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript and backend infrastructure
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with AI-enabled product capabilities
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Ability to thrive in a high-ownership, ambiguous environment
• Passion for delivering solutions that benefit GovCon customers

Pay

$160,000 – $175,000 annually
