Accountabilities
- Designing end-to-end architectures spanning web, mobile, backend services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Creating detailed technical specifications that clearly define requirements, dependencies, constraints, and edge cases.
- Breaking down complex initiatives into scalable, dependency-driven implementation plans.
- Developing and maintaining reusable frameworks, components, APIs, and enterprise services.
- Contributing hands-on to critical implementations and providing technical oversight on complex initiatives.
- Designing highly scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Leveraging AI development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining full ownership of engineering quality and outcomes.
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and production-readiness requirements.
- Driving testing strategies, observability initiatives, performance optimization, and system reliability improvements.
- Identifying architectural risks and resolving technical gaps before production deployment.
- Leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across systems and projects.
- Mentoring engineers, promoting engineering excellence, and acting as a force multiplier across teams.
- Evaluating and introducing new technologies, patterns, and practices that enhance development efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with principal-level technical depth.
- Proven experience building and operating production systems using technologies such as Java, C#, Dart, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Strong full-stack expertise across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and scale distributed enterprise applications and microservices architectures.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to understand and architect complete application ecosystems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent environments.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, modern software delivery practices, and production deployment strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience diagnosing and resolving complex production issues.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Flutter, or similar technologies.
- Able to communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives across teams.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-output environments while maintaining exceptional engineering standards.
