Principal Software Engineer Full Stack / AI-First

Accountabilities

• Designing end-to-end architectures spanning web, mobile, backend services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Creating detailed technical specifications that clearly define requirements, dependencies, constraints, and edge cases.
• Breaking down complex initiatives into scalable, dependency-driven implementation plans.
• Developing and maintaining reusable frameworks, components, APIs, and enterprise services.
• Contributing hands-on to critical implementations and providing technical oversight on complex initiatives.
• Designing highly scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Leveraging AI development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining full ownership of engineering quality and outcomes.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and production-readiness requirements.
• Driving testing strategies, observability initiatives, performance optimization, and system reliability improvements.
• Identifying architectural risks and resolving technical gaps before production deployment.
• Leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across systems and projects.
• Mentoring engineers, promoting engineering excellence, and acting as a force multiplier across teams.
• Evaluating and introducing new technologies, patterns, and practices that enhance development efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with principal-level technical depth.
• Proven experience building and operating production systems using technologies such as Java, C#, Dart, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Strong full-stack expertise across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and scale distributed enterprise applications and microservices architectures.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to understand and architect complete application ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent environments.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, modern software delivery practices, and production deployment strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience diagnosing and resolving complex production issues.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Flutter, or similar technologies.
• Able to communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives across teams.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-output environments while maintaining exceptional engineering standards.
