Principal, Site Investigation and Remediation
About the role
Ramboll is seeking a Principal to join our Environment and Health team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, specifically in site investigation and remediation. They will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, managing projects, and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities and build client relationships
- Manage projects, clients, staff, and navigate regulatory agency relations
- Critically and strategically review and interpret project needs, applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations, and communicate findings
- Deliver projects, which may require site visits, prepare and review project deliverables
- Serve as a role model to ensure the health, safety and security of our people
Requirements
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical preferred) or science-related field (Geology or Earth Science preferred), or related environmental science discipline
- A successful track record of business development
- Relevant professional licenses and/or certifications

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $169,000 to $210,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
