Principal / Senior Principal Project Management

About the role

This position oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects, performing advanced project management tasks from inception to close-out, and continuously managing the system for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects
• Perform advanced project management tasks from inception to close-out
• Manage the system for operational efficiency
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and standardization
• Translate complex business questions into actionable data insights and visualizations to support pivotal decision-making
• Ensure the efficient and effective flow of products through advanced flight test facilities

Requirements

• Active US Government clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
• Microsoft Project (scheduling)
• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables)
• Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency
• Statistical, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and visualization experience
• Experience working with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• For Principal: Bachelor's degree AND 5 years of related professional/military experience, OR Master's degree AND 3 years of related professional/military experience, OR Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional/military experience
• For Sr Principal: Bachelor's degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience, OR Master's degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience, OR Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience

Skills

• EVMS / Cost and Schedule experience
• Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
• Technical experience in manufacturing/production environment in defense, aerospace, or automotive industries
• Leverage Lean Six-Sigma green belt

Pay

• Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
• Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
