Responsibilities

  • Perform as a team member on activities involved with vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and tool development for complex systems.
  • Develop and maintain custom forensic analysis tools.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the team's technical portfolio through mentorship, training, and participation in industry events.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate in Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions to enhance skills in network protocols, cyberspace operations, and embedded system analysis.
  • Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI clearance and current CI Polygraph.
  • Experience with vulnerability research and/or reverse engineering.
  • Experience with IDA/Ghidra/BinaryNinja.
  • Experience with source management tools.
  • Experience with assembly language (x86/64, ARM, PPC, Mips, etc.).

Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Previously part of a leading Fortune 100 company and headquartered in Dulles, VA.
  • Unfaltering commitment to the mission.

Skills

  • 8 years of RE/VR/CNO experience.
  • C/C++/Python.
  • Utilizing full system emulation for research and analysis.
  • Embedded system analysis.
  • Fuzzer development.
  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, RF communications, BGP, routing protocols, or others).
  • Working knowledge of cyberspace operations.
  • Commercial and open source forensic analysis tools.
  • Experience creating custom forensic analysis tools.
