About the Role
Oracle Compliance is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our global organization, you will be responsible for end-to-end intake of new compliance programs, including performing gap assessments, informing leadership on regulatory changes, and pioneering compliance automation capabilities to maintain a high level of compliance while building efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate end-to-end intake of new compliance and regulatory requests, including assessing whether Oracle should adopt them.
- Present recommendations to leadership on compliance and regulatory changes.
- Execute gap assessments to determine whether Oracle Cloud products meet required controls.
- Apply specialized knowledge of Oracle Cloud product development, control implementation, and regulatory requirements to translate them into operational and technical obligations.
- Evaluate the practicality, scalability, and alignment of compliance requests with Oracle’s compliance strategy, considering increasing complexity across products, frameworks, and stakeholders.
- Support broader Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives, including the development of a Unified Control Framework for enterprise-wide adoption and future automation capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of audit program management experience with a “Big 4” accounting firm or a mid-level accounting firm.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist or similar role.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27000 Series, PCI DSS, SOC, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to explain complex auditing topics to non-expert audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong bias toward action, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication skills across various formats (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email, tickets, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Professional certification in regulatory compliance (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIPP).
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., OpenAI).
Pay
Hiring range in the U.S.: $91,400 - $187,000 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
