Key job responsibilities
- Partner with pharmaceutical customers to design agentic AI applications
- Design scalable, secure AWS solutions
- Provide technical guidance during sales and implementation phases
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Delivery Teams
- Work with AWS experts and external partners
- Share knowledge through coaching, demos, accelerators, and technical documentation
- Understand customer business objectives and translate them into innovative cloud and AI solutions
- Create and lead solution designs to address customer business outcomes (CBO) in the pharmaceutical domain
- Ensure proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and optimized to maximize CBOs
- Lead cloud modernization and AI transformation initiatives
- Design scalable AWS solutions addressing complex clinical development challenges
- Collaborate with expert teams including the Gen AI Innovation Center, Industry Sales, and Product teams
- Experience in designing technical solutions within the pharmaceutical sector
- Experience positioning, articulating business value, and selling enterprise cloud architecture and solutions
- Experience in AI/ML, generative AI, enterprise-scale data platform, and/or agentic AI solutions
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or payer industry
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Experience designing and solutioning agentic AI architectures in enterprise environments
- Experience building and maintaining executive-level relationships with pharmaceutical or payer technology leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
- 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or payer industry
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
