Responsibilities
- Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.
- Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
- Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Contain scope growth though robust baseline change management.
- Cook up stakeholder communications to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Minimum 8 years of project experience or technical CM role developing FAA/EASA certified commercial avionics systems in the Aerospace industry.
- Gold Level EVMS certification or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
- Experience with CNS products and PE processes.
- Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Able to travel to customer and internal Honeywell Aerospace meetings both domestic and international.
- Advanced degree preferred.
