Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and management of cost control systems for accurate financial reporting.
- Perform project planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for various contract types.
- Facilitate Work Breakdown Structure development with cross-department collaboration.
- Conduct data analysis and create presentations for cost status.
- Forecast variances and manage change orders, providing financial analyses.
- Develop revenue recognition models and related financial analyses.
- Work with Project Leads to maintain project budgets and identify risks.
- Manage subcontract and purchase order processes and generate ad hoc reports.
- Oversee 1-2 team members and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
- 3–5 years of experience specific to government contract financial management.
- Familiarity with key contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M).
- US citizenship required.
- Strong analytical skills with budget collaboration experience.
- General understanding of indirect rate structures and government contracting procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting preferred.
