About the role

You will play a crucial role as a Program Quality Engineer in the front of a new configuration, initial production. Your responsibilities include representing Quality within the Program Management Office and serving as the primary Quality interface for the Customer. You will also foster growth and development for lower-level Program Quality engineers, serve as a Quality Stakeholder for Lifecycle Management, Design Reviews, provide Technical and Quality expertise across the organization, and foster a "Quality First" culture within the F 35 Solutions Product Line.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Quality within Program Management Office and serve as primary Quality interface for Customer.
  • Foster growth and development for lower-level Program Quality engineers.
  • Quality Stakeholder for Lifecycle Management, Design Reviews.
  • Provide Technical and Quality expertise across the organization and foster a "Quality First" culture within the F 35 Solutions Product Line.

Requirements

  • Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
    • Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6+ years of experience or 8-10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
    • Must be able to obtain SAP / SAR clearance.
    • Possess active Secret Clearance.
    • Possess strong communication and presentation skills to facilitate effective communication at all levels of the organization and across customers and partner communities.
    • Be a visible, influential leader who takes a collaborative approach with others and comes across as approachable; can diffuse high-tension situations effectively.
    • Takes responsibility for resolving technical challenges and ensuring successful tactical execution across the team.
    • Relate well with individuals at all levels of the organization, build effective relationships within BAE Systems and across customer base.
  • Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Technical Discipline.
    • Technical Master’s degree.
    • Prior Quality Engineering Leadership experience.
    • Leverage Lean Six Sigma tools: Green Belt / Black Belt Certifications.
    • Supply Chain Management experience.
    • Transition to Production experience.
    • Risk and Opportunity (R&O) experience.
    • Lifecycle Management (LCM) experience.
    • Design Quality Assurance (DQA) experience.
    • PPV-FAI AS9102 Experience.
    • AS9145 Experience.
