About the role
The Principal Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA) will support Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type production programs within the Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity Division (NIC).
Responsibilities
- Interface with program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
- Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures, direct preparation of expenditure projections, and submit timely requests for additional funding to the government.
- Support audits and reviews as requested by programs, customers, and company management.
- Support Annual Operating Plan, Resource Plan, and Long Range Strategic Plan activity.
- Prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations (IPRS, Dashboards, BARs, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience
- Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
- Experience with financial forecasting
- Strong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
- Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
Qualifications
- Preferred: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Experience with COGNOS, SAP or related field
- Experience with COBRA, ERP2
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs and control accounts
