A motivated individual is sought to join the Integrated Survivability Solutions Product Line within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area of BAE Systems Aerospace and Mission Systems (AMS) Segment. This role serves as the finance lead on active Longshot OTAs and Prophet IRADs within the International Strategic Air (ISA) product area. The ISA portfolio is transitioning groundbreaking technology developed on IRAD into the customer community and executing two OTAs with expansion opportunities. This role involves hybrid work, split between onsite and remote.

Applicants must reside within a reasonable daily commute of Merrimack, NH, or be willing to relocate at their own expense.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Serve as the Finance partner to the program manager and functional team
  • Support, review, and influence program baselines through earned value management
  • Develop financial forecasts and analyze estimates at completion
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and in-depth analytical skills
  • Interface with customers and serve as a consultant for external communications
  • Communicate and present financial data accurately and understandably to leadership and other functions
  • Provide proposal support through strategy discussions, kick-off preparation, proposal review, fact-finding, statements of position, and negotiations
  • Develop creative solutions to problems and drive change
  • Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance to support classified programs

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of work experience or equivalent experience
  • Prior Program Controls experience working with various contract types
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional work teams
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all organizational levels
  • Experience with financial forecasting and analysis
  • Recent experience in the Defense Industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment in decision-making while complying with policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cobra, Excel, Oracle, Hyperion (Smartview), and ProPricer
  • Ability to challenge and improve industry practices, standards, and company policies
  • Experience developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • Experience in program finance or other finance functional disciplines

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $101,398 – $172,377. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
