About the role

We are seeking a senior-level infrastructure engineer to serve as the technical bridge between federal customer operations teams and internal engineering organizations. This is a highly hands-on role focused on diagnosing and resolving complex production issues across Linux systems, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across Linux systems, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with federal customer operations teams and internal engineering organizations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support customer environments in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, AL, with up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE:
    • Active Secret Clearance
    • 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience
    • VMware (ESXi, vCenter, NSX)
    • KVM/libvirt
    • Linux systems administration (Redhat, Ubuntu)
    • Kubernetes and containerized workloads
    • AWZ, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • NICE TO HAVE:
    • Federal customer experience
    • Certifications: VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD
    • Security+, CISSP, or CASP+
    • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications

Pay

$160,000 - $180,000 per year

Schedule

This is a Hybrid role where your time will be split between working virtually and supporting customer environments in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, AL. Travel to customer sites is up to 25%.
