About the role
This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Huntsville AL, Sunnyvale CA, Littleton CO.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, testing and delivery of an Avionics module that is responsible for power distribution for a modified Interceptor Drive collaboration across adjacent organizations such as Systems Engineering, Test and Integration Engineering, Flight Sciences and Manufacturing
- Develop and maintain close team relationships to foster partnership in all outcomes
- Be responsible for the Module’s schedules and be accountable for achieving key milestones
- Present technical status and issue resolution to program leadership and applicable stakeholders
- Maximize collaboration and foster a culture of technical excellence with a laser focus on delivering compliant products on schedule
Requirements
- Experience with high-reliability electronics through the product lifecycle
- Previous or current Product Engineer or equivalent experience
- 3+ years professional experience
- An active DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Skills
- Experience operating through full lifecycle development process with an emphasis on development, test and integration
- Proven ability to effectively manage and complete complex technical problems
- Deep understanding of missile system disciplines, including but not limited to: Power management and Distribution, Missile Integration and Testing, Circuitware / FPGA development, Non-conformance disposition in a Quality Management system
