Principal Product Mgr – Technical , Amazon S3 Express

About the role

As Principal Product Manager for Amazon S3 Express, you will own product strategy for a service operating at the frontier of performance. The AI space is moving fast, the requirements are ambiguous, and the technical challenges are hard. Defining what the product becomes, from first principles, is the core of this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop crisp business requirements and user stories through direct contact with customers and partners at the leading edge of AI and high performance computing
• Define product strategy and roadmap, translating ambiguous, fast-moving requirements into a clear path forward
• Collaborate with product managers, software development managers, and engineers to define, build, and roll out features
• Present solutions and the roadmap to customers at conferences and executive briefings
• Partner with industry leaders in AI and teams across AWS to solve horizontal high performance computing challenges, and with the leadership team to set strategy for S3 Express One Zone

Requirements

• 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
• 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
• Experience working on AI technologies including Model Training, Inference, RL
