About the role

The Principal Product Marketing Manager will lead the go-to-market initiatives for StackAdapt's marketing orchestration suite, bridging the gap between complex marketing automation and programmatic advertising. This role requires a strong background in platform product marketing, particularly within the Martech, enterprise marketing cloud, or marketing automation ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic GTM & Positioning Pivot: Own and execute the global GTM strategy for the marketing orchestration suite. Lead strategic narratives where the problem, objective, or GTM framework is undefined or cross-cutting, repositioning the suite away from traditional, email-specific retention use cases toward connected, cross-channel execution.
  • Act as the principal strategic partner across decentralized product squads, synthesizing disparate product roadmaps (data activation, email, flows, direct mail, analytics) into a single, cohesive, long-term multi-channel marketing orchestration story.
  • Partner with the revenue enablement team, and collaborate closely with the client services and account management leadership to bridge technical product knowledge gaps. Designing repeatable sales plays, client-facing pitch frameworks, and strategic objection-handling guides that empower commercial teams globally.
  • Maintain a deep, recognized expertise of market trends and capabilities across the cross-channel engagement landscape. Aggregate insights from across the organization to define GTM direction, shape product-market fit, and advise senior leaders (VPs, SVPs) on market approach.
  • Gather rigorous feedback from clients and internal commercial teams to identify user friction points, customer journeys, and upcoming trends. Translate these insights into long-term strategic business requirements for the product management teams.
  • Design scalable GTM systems, templates, and frameworks that accelerate cross-functional execution and raise the quality of marketing and design briefs. Embrace an AI-forward culture by proactively integrating generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude) to optimize daily workflows, accelerate asset creation, and establish repeatable enablement collateral systems.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on product adoption KPIs, feature usage, and commercial win-rates, continuously managing resource trade-offs and iterating on positioning strategies to maximize product revenue.
  • Mentor peers and junior team members across the product marketing team, establishing standards, sharing frameworks, and systematically raising execution standards for the entire PMM discipline.

Requirements

Required: 8+ years of dedicated product marketing experience, advanced positioning capabilities, hands-on experience bringing multi-channel marketing tools to market, experience with direct mail automation, leadership and matrix influence, and a solid understanding of the programmatic ad tech space.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Positioning Capabilities: Demonstrated capability to translate complex technical data structures into clear business value.
  • Hands-on experience bringing multi-channel marketing tools to market, with deep knowledge of email infrastructure, customer data hubs, workflow builders, and analytics.
  • Experience with direct mail automation is highly preferred.
  • Proven portfolio of creating structured GTM frameworks, strategic sales plays, and competitive battlecards rather than just high-level, localized marketing content.
  • Adequate understanding of the programmatic ad tech space (DSPs, media buying).

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with AI and generative AI tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
