Principal Product Manager, Technical, Database Services

About the role

The RDS Platform team is looking for an exceptional product leader to own the RDS Console—the interface that customers use to manage their database infrastructure. This role requires a blend of UI/UX creativity and scale across a fleet of millions of compute instances.

Responsibilities

• Reimagine the entire console experience for the next generation of AWS builders, making complex database operations intuitive and scalable.
• Drive platform capabilities that operate at extraordinary scale, orchestrating upgrades across millions of database instances.
• Design how customers are informed through notifications and the AWS Health console, ensuring they always know what's happening with their critical infrastructure.
• Transform the patching and upgrade experience for customers, turning it from a source of anxiety into something they can confidently manage.

Requirements

• 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
• 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Base salary range: $181,100.00 - $245,000.00 USD annually
