Principal Product Manager - Tech, FBA

Key job responsibilities

• Lead new, large product initiatives to define the long-term strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs.
• Work with teams across Amazon to solve complex business and product challenges, proactively identifying gaps/opportunities to then develop a suite of products to ensure customer success.
• Help clarify ambiguous issues and negotiate effective technical solutions between development, science, product and business teams.
• Represent difficult trade-off decisions and solutions clearly to leadership to help them understand decisions and options.
• Leverage your technical knowledge to drive technical trade-off choices.
• Manage cross-functional and cross-organization communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed, and needs are aligned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience in technical product management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of product management experience
• Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
• Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
