Principal Product Manager - Tech, CPJ
About the role
Customer Purchase Journey (CPJ) team at Amazon forms the backbone of multiple commerce experiences like Classic Retail, Alexa Shopping, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh to name a few. We own the CX and services that power the discovery and selection of products, services, and delivery options tailored to the customer's unique location, which then enables them to build their Cart, Checkout, review their order via Thank You Page, and ensure timely post order processing and refunds processing. Our goal is to enable rich and low-latency experiences for the customer throughout their shopping journey.
Key job responsibilities
- Be the voice of the customer - you are in the driver's seat for steering the end-to-end vision across product areas using the working backwards processes and supporting A|B experimentation mechanisms
- Define and improve metrics to gain insight into the customer experience and track progress towards goals
- Influence tech partners to ensure our architectural decisions align with customer needs
- Partner with teams like Delivery Experience, Prime, Fulfillment, Returns and Refunds, Customer Service (and more) to deliver on your roadmap
- Collaborate with hundreds of partner teams that innovate across our services, gaining insight into Amazon-wide strategic initiatives and priorities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
Pay
USA, WA, Seattle - 179,900.00 - 243,400.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
