Principal Product Manager, Private Markets
About the Role
The Enterprise Solutions business within S&P Global Market Intelligence provides industry-leading data, software, and services that support investment management, enterprise data management, regulatory compliance, and private markets solutions. The Private Markets product team is responsible for products that support the entire investment lifecycle across Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Credit markets. As part of the flagship iLEVEL product organization, you will work with a highly collaborative team of product leaders, technology professionals, and market experts focused on delivering innovative solutions for investment professionals. Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy for Private Markets solutions, focusing on the evolving needs of deal professionals, portfolio managers, and investment teams.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align customer requirements, business priorities, and strategic growth objectives.
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate market needs into actionable product capabilities.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, UX, data, commercial, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and customer challenges.
- Influence executive stakeholders and drive product innovation that enhances the value and growth of the iLEVEL platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B FinTech product management.
- Strong knowledge of private capital markets, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and/or Private Credit.
- Experience defining product requirements, user stories, workflow processes, and product documentation.
- Experience with AI governance, model evaluation, responsible AI principles, and regulatory considerations within financial services or enterprise software environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and ability to maintain those relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (preferred).
- Experience with investment management, portfolio monitoring, or private markets technology platforms (preferred).
- Experience developing and delivering products using Agile methodologies (preferred).
- Experience building SaaS products for institutional financial services clients (preferred).
Pay
Anticipated base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $175,000. Final base salary will be based on the individual's geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan.
