Principal Product Manager, Enterprise Data Solutions

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager, Enterprise Data Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will shape the strategy and execution of a modern enterprise data platform that enables technical teams to build, govern, and scale data products with confidence. The position will partner closely with Data Engineering and domain teams to improve self-service capabilities, strengthen interoperability, and drive adoption through clear product thinking and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring experience building scalable platform experiences in complex environments and will help establish the operating model for a function with broad cross-functional impact. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $190,000 – $304,000 annually Responsibilities Own and prioritize the data platform product roadmap Design and improve the self-service user experience Conduct discovery sessions with technical domain teams to gather requirements Create templates and paths for domain teams to support compliance and governance Drive adoption of platform capabilities and iterate based on usage metrics Collaborate closely with Data Engineering to define platform needs Remove obstacles preventing domain teams from advancing their capabilities Ensure interoperability among data products across different domains Qualifications 7+ years in product management, focusing on data platforms or related fields Experience designing tools and frameworks for technical teams Proven ability to ship scalable self-service platform capabilities Comfortable operating in strategic ambiguity and building functions from scratch In-depth knowledge of modern data stack components Familiarity with data mesh concepts and systems thinking Experience in related sectors such as restaurant technology or fintech preferred Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits programs Flexibility to meet changing personal needs and lifestyles Tools for learning new technologies, including AI Support for professional development and career growth Opportunity to work in a hybrid environment fostering collaboration Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
