Principal Product Manager
About the role
We're building the first AI-powered platform for hardware product development. This role requires someone with direct experience running hardware programs and a passion for building tools that help streamline the process.
Responsibilities
- Owning product execution end to end, from talking to hardware engineers to working with engineering to ship
- Running discovery across our early adopter program, which includes several dozen internal and external companies
- Driving the roadmap and hitting dates by setting realistic timelines and communicating them clearly
- Prototyping and demoing, putting things in front of users early, and iterating on what you learn
Requirements
- Direct experience running hardware program execution
- Demonstrated 0-to-1 experience taking a new product from a blank page to something real and shipped
- High output and a bias to action, with a track record of shipping
- Excellent written communication that is clear, concise, and structured
- Deadline discipline: set commitments, keep them, and flag slippage early
- Deep subject-matter credibility with hardware engineers and program teams
- Experience building software for engineers or manufacturing
- Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered products
- Prior early-stage, 0-to-1 startup experience
- Technical fluency with the hardware NPI lifecycle

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $164,000 – $247,000 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to proven experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
Schedule
This role is remote-first, with preference for candidates in Boston, Seattle, Los Angeles, or other cities with Re:Build offices.
