About the role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager – Finance Applications to shape and deliver applications for planning, forecasting, and reporting use cases within Anaplan's Finance Center of Excellence. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure successful adoption and implementation of these applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate defining and managing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for specific Finance Applications targeting the office of the CFO.
  • Drive the delivery of Finance Applications incorporating the suite of Anaplan platform components (model and UX building, Application Framework, AI, user management, data integration, reporting, forecasting, etc.).
  • Gather and prioritize application requirements from internal/external SMEs and customers.
  • Document and manage the application design, resourcing, workplan and critical paths, from approval to delivery; Ensure adherence to best practices, application building standards, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with Anaplan QA Teams to develop test plans, automate testing processes, and identify and resolve defects.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Finance Applications.
  • Partner with Anaplan’s Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure seamless integration of Finance Applications into Anaplan’s GTM motion.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Finance Applications, including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in product management and application development, with a focus on finance-related software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes, methodologies, and systems with domain expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Experience building multi-dimensional planning models, ideally on the Anaplan platform.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $152,000 USD - $219,000 USD
