Principal Product Designer (contract or FTE)

About the role

The Principal Product Designer will lead the design vision and strategy for our innovative product line, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the product are aligned with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine product design concepts based on user research and market analysis
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other design teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of designs
• Lead design reviews and provide feedback to improve product usability and aesthetics
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to inform product design decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in product design or a related field
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects from concept to launch
• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive design innovation and excellence
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
