Key job responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategy for creative optimization and intelligence systems, creating a clear multi-year roadmap that guides engineering, science, and design efforts across the organization
  • Own the product definition for closed-loop systems that generate, score, serve, measure, and continuously improve creative performance
  • Establish quality and performance frameworks that define success across creative quality, advertiser performance, and system efficiency
  • Drive cross-organizational alignment by influencing priorities and building consensus across multiple engineering, science, and product teams
  • Communicate strategic narratives to senior leadership, contributing to planning cycles and helping executives understand the long-term opportunity in creative intelligence

A day in the life

In this role, you'll focus on defining the multi-year roadmap for creative optimization and intelligence systems. You'll work across science, engineering, and design teams to translate complex opportunities into clear product strategy. Your day might include collaborating with data scientists to understand how AI can continuously improve creative performance, partnering with engineers to define system architecture for generating and scoring creative, or presenting strategic narratives to senior leadership about how personalized creative will reshape advertising. You'll also spend time defining quality and performance frameworks—establishing what "good" means across creative quality, advertiser outcomes, and system efficiency. Beyond regular responsibilities, you'll navigate ambiguity in emerging AI capabilities and help multiple teams align around a shared vision for the future of creative intelligence.

About the team

We're building a new category of creative intelligence at Amazon Ads. Our team combines generative AI capabilities with advertiser-centric design to simplify complex creative workflows and deliver measurable impact across the full marketing funnel. We serve advertisers of all sizes—from emerging brands to global enterprises—helping them create, optimize, and scale creative content across Amazon's advertising surfaces.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work across technical teams (engineering, data science, design) and translate between different disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
  • Background in AI, machine learning, or optimization systems
  • Familiarity with advertising technology, creative optimization, or personalization platforms
