Responsibilities
- Lead cross-team evolution of middleware patterns or runtimes to standardize interoperability at scale.
- Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies that minimize downstream breaks.
- Implement Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen3) integrations.
- Develop and support API Gateway configurations.
- Manage OCI GoldenGate replication and data synchronization.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize performance.
Production Operations
- Own production support for the PaaS integration layer.
- Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Support production deployments and release activities.
- Execute production readiness and operational validation activities.
- Conduct performance profiling and optimization of coding, building scalable solutions, and anticipating and resolving potential outcomes.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues related to application programming interface (API) functionality and integration.
- Implements complex API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
Observability & Monitoring
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for all integration components.
- Build operational dashboards and business KPI dashboards.
- Define health checks and proactive alerting strategies.
- Identify monitoring gaps and drive continuous improvements.
Operational Excellence
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues.
- Implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurring incidents.
- Develop automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity planning.
Customer Engagement
- Participate in architecture and operational workshops with NFCU.
- Collaborate with Oracle SaaS, OCI, CSS, and Product Engineering teams.
- Support technical governance and production readiness reviews.
Development Operations - System Maintenance
- Performs periodic maintenance and testing operations for systems that require upgrading or patching (e.g., for critical vulnerabilities), sharing results with manager upon completion.
- Drives improvements, ensures automation, testing, and debugging of systems to ensure service/product availability, health, support, and reliability.
