Responsibilities
- Lead high-priority initiatives, clarifying approaches and ensuring quality outcomes
- Define clear interfaces to minimize cross-team friction and enable parallel work
- Establish engineering best practices including design documentation and effective testing
- Create reusable platform capabilities
- Implement automation to enhance operational efficiency and delivery speed
- Enhance stability through observability standards and incident learning loops
- Coach senior engineers and model technical leadership in a mentoring capacity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years in building, automating, and operating cloud-native platforms at scale
- Proficient in full SDLC practices for platform and infrastructure work
- Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives with measurable outcomes
- 8+ years designing microservices-based systems along with API and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise
- 5+ years hands-on with Kubernetes, public cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and reliability tooling
- Experience with production systems, incident response, and reliability improvements
Pay
$180,000 – $210,000 annually
