Role Overview
We are seeking talented technologists to join our Solution Architect team to ensure our product (TiDB) aligns with customer needs across various industries and business segments. Our team works closely with business teams in North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan to develop and implement solutions that meet the unique demands of each market.
Responsibilities
- Support business teams in North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan, ensuring the achievement of relevant business metrics at the solution level.
- Enhance the Proof of Concept (POC) success rate of account teams.
- Conduct market research into global new economy vertical industries (such as games, e-commerce, financial technology, SaaS).
- Develop and implement scenario-based industry solutions, helping customers craft and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform.
- Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for the best use of TiDB, through efficient tooling and interactive user journeys.
- Deeply understand and develop trends in data technology, studying the latest data technology stacks and products, and outputting high-quality technical content and solutions.
- Establish industry influence, organize internal and external technology sharing events, and disseminate distributed database technology, industry data architecture, and best solutions practices.
- Show a strong understanding of solutions innovation.
Qualifications
- Professional experience of 8+ years, with a Master's degree in database or big data technology.
- In-depth research and relevant content output in data technology, familiarity with mainstream data products like RDMS, distributed systems, and cloud-native data technologies.
- Diverse industry business and technology expertise, with a comprehensive understanding of industry scenarios, SaaS models, and data architecture.
- Proven track record in industry influence through internal and external presentations, evangelism, and enabling field teams with proactive exploration of data architecture needs, and guiding solution design.
- Expertise in selling databases and deploying applications with leading cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
- Outstanding communication and program presentation skills, enabling proactive exploration of customer data architecture needs, guiding solution design, and facilitating the implementation of business initiatives.
- A strong sense of curiosity and a continuous learning mindset in database, cloud computing, big data, and emerging technologies.
Pay
The annual anticipated Offer to Employee (OTE) range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $125,000 to $230,000. Four zones are applied with different levels of the pay range. More details of the Geo Differential Pay Policy will be discussed during the HR conversation.
