Principal Model Based Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Utilize your knowledge of MBSE processes, practices, tools, and related modeling languages and frameworks (e.g. SysML, UML, UAF) to solve complex technical problems.
Guide a program in their total MBSE development activities.
Collaborate with project teams and leadership to contribute to the development of MBSE training materials and company best practices.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field and 6+ years experience in Systems Engineering or Masters Degree in STEM field and 4+ years experience in Systems Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience building models and developing modeling strategies using MBSE methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Strong technical skills in MBSE, including: Experience with MagicDraw/Cameo and associated plug-ins, Proficiency in UML, SysML, and other relevant modeling languages and frameworks
• Ability to create specialized searches, and analyze problems through MBSE models
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Ability to contribute to the development of MBSE training materials, best practices, and processes, and guide programs in their total MBSE development activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing / supporting digital engineering solutions and technologies
• Directly built 2-4 full scale models including parametric functions and simulation execution
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies and task management tools (e.g. Jira)
• Experienced in Modeling, Simulation, Visualization and Analysis (MSVA)
• Familiar with Government Reference Architectures (GRAs)
• Experience supporting all phases of the engineering product development lifecycle
• Classroom and on-the-job teaching experience
• Training material development
• Electronic Warfare (EW) Experience

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
