Principal Medical Writer

About the role

This role provides business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of clinical study reports and protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information
• Provide guidance on medical writing best practices
• Mentor and train junior medical writers
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory guidelines
• Act as lead writer for complex projects and regulatory applications
• Fulfill duties of a Senior Medical Writer with added leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field
• Significant experience in medical writing, especially regulatory submissions
• Strong grasp of regulatory requirements for clinical writing
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
