Principal Mechanical Motor Design Engineer - Texas

What You'll Do
- Lead mechanical design of large motors and generators
- Design rotors, shafts, housings, cooling systems, bearings, and sealing arrangements
- Develop detailed CAD models and production drawings
- Support product development from concept through production release
- Work directly with manufacturing teams to improve product quality and manufacturability
- Support product testing and validation programs
- Troubleshoot design, manufacturing, and field issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct technical reviews and engineering evaluations
- Support drafting personnel and drawing release activities
What We're Looking For
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience designing motors, generators, or rotating equipment
- Strong 3D CAD experience
- Solid working knowledge of GD&T
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments
- Product testing and validation experience
- Knowledge of rotors, shafts, bearings, cooling systems, and rotating machinery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
