About the role
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS), F-35 Sustainment HPSI Operating Unit, seeks a Principal Logistics Management Analyst (Night Shift) to support F-35 organizational-level maintenance at NAS Lemoore, CA, and other sites.
Responsibilities
- Identify and ensure Aircraft components are applicable to specific aircraft using Logistics Control Number (LCN) bill of material (BOM)
- Coordinate with ALIS (Autonomic Logistics Information System) team members to ensure EEL updates (Electronic Equipment Logs) and ALIS issues are resolved
- Use familiarity within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to build Work Orders for maintenance against the aircraft and track them via JCNs (Job Control Numbers)
- Write Action Requests (ARs) against ALIS/Parts/Aircraft for issues such as updating ALIS Database for new parts, resolving UNK serial numbers not properly tracked from manufacturing, or requesting further information on MDRs (Maintenance Deviation repairs)
- Use knowledge with JTD (Joint-Service Technical Data) to build Work Orders and research part information based on Spec PN/VPN and Cage Code, track any weight and balance changes to the aircraft and ensure AWBS information is relayed to the owning unit
- Track and Push PAIRS against an aircraft using MM_PAIRS, build solution sets and create Maintenance Actions using LCNS
- Flightline Coordinator duties will augment maintenance control and help control the flow of maintenance while keeping up with an aggressive flight schedule
- Serve as the on flightline or flight deck maintenance expeditors, shift maintenance priorities as aircraft availability changes
- Coordinate communication between the squadron and the ships maintenance departments while at sea for combat FOD walks, fuel support, aircraft movement, support equipment and elevator movements
- Manage coordination of aircraft Ship Inertial Navigation System (SINS) alignments with the ship while at sea
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience as either a technician, or in a maintenance/production control facet
- Masters Degree with 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience as either a technician, or in a maintenance/production control face
- Previous maintenance or production planning experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings
- Active Secret Clearance or higher (US Citizenship required), ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance, as required
- Willingness to provide temporary support to other CLS locations and/or emerging deployments
- Willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include, shift rotation, extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year
- Able to meet the physical demands of this position, including: regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach
- Able to meet the F-35C Safe for Flight qualification within 12 months
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Masters Degree with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience in F-22 or F-35 Flightline Maintenance
- Safe for Flight experience
- In-depth F-35 ALIS/CMMS experience
- Previous F-35 Flightline Expediter / Maintenance Control Experience
Skills
- Knowledge of JTD (Joint-Service Technical Data)
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings

$81,800.00 - $122,600.00
Schedule
