What You Will Do
- Build, maintain, and secure Information Technology systems
- Directly support customer mission-critical capabilities
- Partner and work with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to system problems
- Collaborate and work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements
- Support systems that operate 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours
- Support occasional after-hour maintenance and on-call support
- Lift to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods
- Experience with Red Hat Linux
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, administration, backup and recovery
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
