Principal Laboratory Technician

WMUA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Laboratory Technician – Water Analysis to lead and perform laboratory testing and analysis of potable water and wastewater samples.

About the role

This position conducts chemical and bacteriological analyses, supports regulatory compliance, maintains laboratory equipment, and provides guidance to laboratory personnel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical laboratory skills, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to water quality, public health, laboratory safety, and accurate recordkeeping.
