Job Summary
Nightwing is seeking a Systems Administrator to support Information Technology systems and networks in a challenging, high-tempo, dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will work directly with program engineering teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to government and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain mission enabling Information Technology systems supporting Nightwing programs and customers.
- Perform routine maintenance and system administration tasks such as software and hardware installations, troubleshooting, system hardening, vulnerability analysis and remediation.
- Operating System patching and general network administration across various computing systems.
- Coincoperate with internal and external customers and deliver technical solutions to engineering teams to solve critical pain points and achieve mission objectives.
- Abide by established standards, processes and industry best practices in the execution of daily tasking, projects and producing documentation that can be utilized by IT and engineering team members.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of applicable experience delivering and supporting IT solutions in government accredited program network environments using Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Prominent ability in collaborating with internal and external customers and delivering technical solutions to engineering teams to solve critical pain points and achieve mission objectives.
- Strong familiarity with IT concepts such as virtualization, networking, Microsoft Active Directory services, DHCP, DNS, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient with system compliance and hardening using DISA STIGs and/or CIS Benchmarks.
- Proficient with supporting technical security controls and tools (ex. MFA, PKI and DLP).
- Proficient with scripting and automation techniques using PowerShell, Python, BASH and Ansible.
- Proficient with supporting audit collection and reduction (SIEM) tools such as Splunk.
- Proficient with vulnerability assessment and remediation using Nessus or Rapid7.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 control frameworks.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Systems, Cybersecurity or other STEM field is preferred. Possess or be able to obtain a DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (ie. Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.).
Clearance
This position requires a current TS//SCI clearance.
